What to Expect

We want all of our patients to feel immediately at home when they walk in the door so we will do our best to make to feel welcome and relaxed. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important for you to feel comfortable right from the start.

Dr. Moore Will Create A Customized Treatment Plan

Make An Appointment

Your journey to better health and feeling great usually starts with a phone call to our office. We have bilingual staff to answer all of your questions and explain the process. On this call we will discuss your insurance plan. Questions about if we are on your plan, the cost and if you will need a referral from your primary doctor will be discussed. We will also direct you to our website where you can download the new patient paperwork. This will save time at your first visit. We will help you in every way we can to make this as easy as we can!

Your First Visit: Your Consultation

Upon entering our Denton office you will be greeted by our warm and friendly staff. If you have already completed your paperwork we will ask for it at this time and if not we will give you the paperwork and ask you to complete it before seeing Dr. Moore. Please bring your insurance card if you have one.

At the consultation with Dr. Moore he will ask you about the details of your present complaint. Once this has been discussed and your questions have been answered the Doctor will perform the examination and x-rays of the area of complaint. We ask that you wear clothing that does not contain metal so that our view is not obstructed. Gym shorts, warm-ups and a sports bra for the women are all suitable types of clothing.

Your Treatment

Your treatment will begin at your initial visit. The treatment may include your chiropractic adjustments and possibly therapy such as ultrasound and or electrical stimulation for pain control. All this will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Upon check out at the front desk you will be given instructions on how to maximize your chiropractic care. Feel free to call us with any questions after your appointment.

Your Second Visit: Report of Findings

Dr. Moore will present a “Report of Findings” from the examinations and a review of your x-rays. He will explain what it means and how easy or difficult it will be to correct the problem. A treatment plan will be recommended, all questions will be answered and care will begin. The total time for this visit is 30 to 45 minutes.

Regular Visits

Typical office visit lasts anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. Many of our established patients that come occasionally will walk-in without an appointment.
